I do miss home & bargain, and for us all from the northwest, is Kingspot still going ( urmston & cheadle) When i go home next I might hire a car to bring back all the bargains! Ha not very MSE! And the other cracking one of this ilk is B&M ( wythenshawe, bury...)

In Northampton Home Bargains, they had Nestle Ice Tea for 34p and some muppets dressing up costumes for £4.00 (I think?).

i heard on the grapevine that they are gonna be shutting b&m s in wythenshawe i hope not cause i love shopping there,as for kingspot in cheadle that seems to hve gone down the drain lately.

Oh I miss Home Bargains! There's a huge and very busy one in Bradford but now I live in Leeds I rely on the excellent market and Poundland!!

I remember just before christmas on a visit to HB I bought a Sudoku handheld game for £4.99 when they were going for £10-15 everywhere else - a great present for the nephew!

They do small tubes of Colgate for 29p and Mr Muscle spray for £1ish - I still pop in when visiting friends!

A good Home Bargains in Morley, well worth the visit.
Also has a B & M next door, I dont rate it, but plenty of people do.

ooh B&MS is brill .i went to the southport one on sat n got tons of bargains!!have never heard of kingspot though!!

Is there a kind bargain hunter out there that can tell me if HB near York is it Clifton Moors(?) still has any of the INNO VIA Hair care products in?

I would be very greatful as im a southerner and have a "personal shopper" up there heehee :rotfl:
