Spotted in Salford Regent Road branch today - 330ml bottles of Strongbow cider at 29p ea. BBE date is end of the month, but personally they are fortunate enough to last more than a few days in my fridge ;-)0

In Liverpool today (Allerton road) -2 bottles of 1.5l sunny D for 79p .
Also load of Jordons cereals including luxury muesli (rrp.£2.50) for around 99p.Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0 -
The little Tomy Microid toys are great. The batteries don't last long, but don't throw it away as there are 4 spares inside the remote control handset. You need a tiny screwdriver to open it up though. Likewise, if it doesn't work try swapping the batteries around. You can also buy a pack of mixed watch batteries at Quality Save/Home Bargains (about 80p for 20) some of which fit these toys.0

Wahl Comb n Cut £7.99 - RRP £24.99 - mentioned by ILA
I got these recently and used them. I messed up my hair at the front but I think that was probably me using scissors so I just cut the lot off. It comes with a DVD which explains what it does and how to use it. If you prefer longer hairstyles and want to save some money by cutting at home I would recommend this. I think you just need to be consistent, go through each area the same amount of times, try not to overlap areas, and go through at the same speed each time.
Brylcreem Hair Reshaping Kit for £9.99 - RRP £29.99
Also look out for the Brylcreem Hair Reshaping Kit for £9.99. It comes with a pair of remington clippers with left and right ear taper comb attachments, 6 different length attachments, some clips for cutting longer hair so you get it straight, comb, scissors, gown thingy, and some brylcreem hair styling products. All in a nice case too. This was £29.99 in the previous Argos catalogue. I haven't used it yet but remington is a good name as I understand itAnd these clippers are different to the Wahl ones in that they cut all hair to the same length rather than thinning out.
Edit: Just seen the above in TK Max in leeds for £19.99
IBP Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor HL 168 B £8.99, RRP £19.99
The Blood Pressure Monitor is almost identical to this one at argos http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4425959.htm The only difference is a minor cosmetic one (the one at HB has a small design on the battery cover saying "ibp") and the HB one only has 48 previous recording memory sets, compared with 60. I still think this is a great buy. One note of caution though, it doesn't mention on the box but does on the instructions inside. If you have a condition that causes circulatory problems (diabetes, kidney disease, arteriosclerosis or poor peripheral circulation) you may get lower readings than with a monitor used on the upper arm. The leaflet suggests to consult your doctor to determine the accuracy of readings in such cases.
I have spotted all 3 products recently at Leeds, Huddersfield and Shipley.0 -
