Right when I go on holiday next it will be up rather than down country and I am going to pick somewhere close to a home bargains store.

Sad or what. :snow_laug And do a massive stock up.

This afternoon bought The Lord of The Rings Trilogy Edition 'DVD' Trivial Pursuit game for £14.99. My sister in law bought this a couple of months ago for about £40 (from Argos I think).

we got that game on Saturday as we were in Liverpool. Overall spend was £25 so we have loads of stocking fillers now. The game seems a bargain.

never been before, the missus dragged me, needless to say when she is at work tomorrow i will pop in and get loads of the little toys and stuff for all the kids coming round for the xmas party.

it appears a good place, most of the stuff is branded goods, not no name rubbish, and that is for everything , not just toys or cleaning stuff.

    Hi Owey,

I brought the orange & passion fruit juice on Friday-it's not as nice as i expected, much more orange than passion fruit but ok for the price-good for tucking in your bag if you're off shopping or somewhere else where buying a drink will be expensive/inconvenient

  • Went in Wigan yesterday and they had the Charlie Dimmock's "Mucky Hands" activity set. Retails in argos for £16.99 and it was on sale for £5.99! Also saw the Vidal Sassoon professional hair wax, although did not get it as I have stocked up on T&G stuff from the boots thread!!
