Hiya, if anyone is still looking for U2 books @ HB, there were loads by the door when you come in at Wavertree Road, Liverpool. I couldn;t find the books so asked the lady at the checkout and she pointed them out to me. Looks like that the books were sitting on un-opened boxes of the books.

I bought a copy for my sis-in-law who is a huge fan. I hope she hasn't bought a copy for herself already as also shops at H&B!

Another Morleyite here. When I was in a couple of days ago they had loads of U2 books and the mind the gap game but I couldn't see the shrek game. Books are now in the book section rather than next to the door on the way in.

Bought a car booster seat today for £2.99.

They had plain blue or red covered ones and some with teddies on.

We only need one as a spare for when our 7 year old has her freind around for tea.

Not top of the range but they are ok for £2.99.

Slim hardback 2007 diaries for 29p, these are quite nice and would probably cost £3 or so in other shops.

Also they had larege 2007 calenders for 29p or smaller long thin ones for 49p. Don't know why the smaller ones were more expensive but they both looked quite good quality calendars.

Not sure if already done but Greens Shrek cake mix - 49p, and Greens treacle Muffin mix (think it was) 49p, Cadburys choc orange cake mix 69p, and Cadbury's choc chunks (which are £1.39p odd in Asda) 39p!!!

I normally make my own cakes from scratch but would have worked out more to buy the ingredients this time.

The shrek cakes went down well at my daughter's school party yesterday

I just got Love and Grow Suzie today for £29.99 RRP £79.99 in Woolworths, this was at the Aintree store in Liverpool. They hadn't even got the price tag on the shelf :rotfl: , it had only just come in this morning. My daughter's been asking this and i have been looking for 'lo-grow Suzie, as that must be what she thought it was called.

Absolute bargain.

Also Robbie and Britney Spears calendars in for £1.49
