Advice re CCJ

Hi all, In a severe panic and need some advice now please.
I have been dealing with a collection company with regard to a CCJ I picked up last year. I had an arrangement in place for the payments, but have been struggling to make them, I was facing a choice between my kids eating or paying the installment. My last payment was made in June of this year.
I have just lost my job and am waiting for JSA to be awarded while I find a new one.
The collection agent phoned me today and told me as I was 3 months past on payments I was now going to be visited and they would take goods to the value of the judgement. I now have to write to him and advise him that I have been made unemployed and the goods in the house belong to my partner.
I intended to apply to the court to lower my payment via a N245 form, but was advised by the collector that this would not work.
Where do I go, what do I do???!?!? Please, any advice would be great.
