Two Jobs, Two Tax Codes?

I'm currently working for company A, and I'm also due to start work at company B soon. So, I'll have 2 jobs simultaneously (and will do so for the foreseeable future. Company B will be for 20 hrs/week, and company A will be for 6 hrs/week. Both are minimum wage.

How will this affect my income tax/tax codes?

I've had a look online, and asked friends and family, but I'm getting conflicting information. Some people are saying that I'll go onto BR tax at both jobs, some are saying both will be at the 503L code it's at now, etc.

Can someone help clear this up for me please?

You can ask for your tax code to be split between the 2 jobs with more of your personal allowance for Company B, you would need to ring the tax office to do this. Otherwise you will have all your personal allowance on one job (preferably company b) and pay BR tax on your other job which is taxed at 20% :rolleyes:
