I Recently Received A Letter From A Debt Collecter About An Old Council Tax Bill That I Had Already Paid But Have Now No Proof That I Payed It Because It Was 11years Ago .what Do Yo Think I Should Do They Were For Previous Addresses

How did you pay it? Would you be able to get an old bank statement if you wrote a cheque or paid through your bank?

Was it only you responsible or will they be chasing someone else too?

I would advise a trip to your nearest Citizens Advice bureau or similar for help with this.

Hi Fran I Payed It Through A Local Dca And Received Return Slips From Them At The Time But I Dont Have Them Now Because It Was 11 Years Ago And This Is A New Dca From A Different Area
