  • [STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] Afternoon all...

I am currently sitting in bed feeling sorry for myself as I have a stupid cold and am laying it on like I have Manflu, so I need to kick myself up the backside and get up I think...

I was up at 5.30am with hubby, did his rolls for work and had some brekkie with him before he went because this is usually the only time we are both coherant and have a decent conversation - he's always so tired when he gets in at 7pm, that after dinner he just falls asleep and we would hardly see each other otherwise.

I did a quick s&s of the kitchen and lounge then got a headache so went back to bed about 8am, but have been answering calls and stuff since, so not had much rest - still, it is sooo nice and warm in here... ;)

I have already done bathroom to level 3 yesterday, even the damp mark around the light switch (why does it only build up there?) as the 'young man' came to fix the taps...:D I think I am becoming a dirty old woman... :rotfl:

But the study needs a good going over as the washing has built up again and I still have some work to do, so I think I should get up now... well, just finish my cuppa that my lovely DS just brought me as he is off with same thing... it's sooo warm in here though... I think I might need pushing...

I thought about that Sarah but I could only realistically pay no more than £60 for it and I didn't want them to think I was taking the pee. It's got days and days to go yet so I'll have a think......and try and become brave :D

Valli slow down, you're putting us all to shame :p

    Get better soon Denise

Afternoon everyone and a big hello to Toots. Pleased your back.

Dragged myself to work this morning. Feeling a lot better than yesterday. Just weak from hunger. I could eat a for England today, but then I'd make myself poorly again so guess I'll just stick to some toast for lunch. Managed a couple of bananas for breakfast but they really don't fill you up do they:rolleyes:

So far today I've been to work and sold everything on my van again:j
Tidied the kitchen, wiped the surfaces, put a load of washing on and poo patrolled the garden (yuk)

Off to find my list and hopefullly a little get up and go. If not, Valli can you send me a bit of yours please;)

Bargain on the CD tower type - I have one of those and built it myself no probs - but it does need to be screwed to the wall (which I got my dad to do) I paid the £17.99!

That reminds me I need to borrow my dads drill *adds phone mum to list*

Ooooh well done liuhut and fingers crossed for tomorrow crossfingers.gif

My pleasure Valli although I was unaware of my helpfulness :D

Awwww just had my little old lady customer I'm going to at 1pm phoning me up to see when I was going - "my mind's gone funny" she said... I said "today at 1pm" she said "ok love I'll see you tomorrow" Bless. I love my job muchlove.gif

Ok, can't decide what to have for tea, it's a cross between jacket spuds with cheese & warm sausage rolls (they need using) and salad OR new spuds/corn on the cob/quiche....hmmmmmm think I'll plump for the jacket spuds, no prep required lol

ETA: Thanks Denise hippie.gif I'll check it out....*excited*
