Refuse Mortgage Because Current Adress Has Two Names

Advice and help please.
We are currently in the process of moving our mortgage but the new mortgage lender has refused on the grounds that our current home has two address names. Our credit rating is split between the two names so our rating isn't high enough in one sole name to get a new mortgage.
We live in a flat and the first address which is on the lease is:
100 Makeup Court
Alphabet Road
London
ABC 1234
our other address is:
100 Alphabet Road
London
ABC 1234
Our postal address and the Land Registry use the second one (which is also what the local Council has on the computer system) but our current mortgage is in the first one same as the Lease.
How do we merge the two addresses and how do we merge our credit rating.

You just need to get the case referred with proof that it is the same property....There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0

Apparently other properties in our delvelopment have the same problem. We have had to go to a solicitor and get a letter to confirming that the two addresses are one property and that letter arrived this morning. We will show this letter to companies who wish to give us credit in the future.
As for our credit rating their is nothing that can be done except build up a credit in one address only from now on.0
