Any more info on the hard drives? All the ones I tried instore were full price.
  • Don't worry if they are not in stock at Currys, just take a print out to PC World as they have loads on the shelf and they price match. I have just been to get the ones I couldn't get at Currys at PC World with no problems, the assistant even gave me a PC game that was £9.99 for free. :j

Big thanks to the original poster. Managed to pick up PS3 Star Wars Lego (9.97) and Wii Super Monkey Ball (4.97) through click and reserving earlier. Went to the store expecting to be told mistake, all sold etc but no there they were :-)

I did notice that additional copies were on the shelves priced at full price, so maybe word hadn't gotten through the store yet. So as of 15mins ago, Gloucester (High Street store) had Lego and Monkey Ball on the shelves probably with some of the others that had been reduced.

    Hope this helps someone.

I got monkey ball after reserving this morning, guy that served me kept looking at the print out as if 'this cant be right', so no doesn't look as if they knew.
  • Just popped back into Tamworth store on the off chance and shelves had been stocked, prices changed, got The Bigs, Alien Syndrome and Monkeyball for £4.97 each and Trauma Centre for £9.97, Cheers OP
  • Hey mate, where did you pick this up from and can I buy it online? Thanks.

  • I brought loads of games. I mean loads of games, xbox, ps3, wii and DS. Heck I even picked up The warriors on PSP.

Anyway, were possible, collected two of each at 4.97 for ps3 and wii. Infact one currys had a bogof on DS games reduced from 19.99 to 4.97 bogof. Not the greatest titles though. I spent close to £200, however did buy 4 £10 games for PS3.

Anyway, I'll decide which ones I'll make money on or keep for pressies. Otherwise I'll take them back in a week once Ive decided theres no profit in them!

    Great spot! Im happy...

managed to pick up the super monkeyball banana blitz for the wii, it was behind the last game i checked on the shelf  , still priced at £34.99, so was probably the only reason i managed to get it, thanks Dave
Take every day as it comes!!
  • Yup, the original poster is a proper geeza......well done son. Hope you never end up with a fat bird! Your a diamond.
  • Didn't have much selection at our local currys. Got a cheapo wii game for my 7 year old nephew, some alien fighting thing. Never heard of it before, but he'll get lots of fun out of it for the price of £4.97!
