Le Creuset Stainless Steel Cookware, Advice Please

I am thinking about buying some Le Creuset Stainless Steel Cookware and have been reading as much as I can about them since they are so expensive. One review I read (not on this board) said that the only negative thing this person could say about them was that they discoloured slightly when used on a gas hob. Do any of you have any experience of this? I have read the thread on here which talks about which saucepans to buy but couldn't find anything about this.

Sorry I don't know if le creuset will discolour on a gas hob, but I will tell you they are top quality and will last FOREVER.Debt at highest 01/01/2008- $79,385.32 :eek:
