It is mainly college, money and work that I worry about and the impact that all the stress could have on my health.

I know that I really must get this debt cleared by my 30th birthday so that I can go to drama school with a clear slate ready to rack up more debt :rotfl:

Hi Saver,

You are doing really well but I think you are being too hard on yourself, to the detriment of your health and emotional well-being. Part of going to college is going out with your classmates and having a bit of fun. I am not saying that you should be out all the time but cut yourself a bit of slack! Would you consider moving the goalposts a little bit, say to December 2009, just so you aren't so stressed?

Hope you all have a good day. We will be saving money as we will have our Christmas roast at my nan's and will also bring home some turkey, plus we will be at OH's mums and can have our evening meal there! So we will be saving a fortune :rotfl:

And on a money making note I am working full time hours for the next 7 days (not today) and I will be getting double pay on boxing day and new years day, and I have 10 hours shifts on both days so I will be quids in.

I personally think this year has gone SO quickly, but am not sure if that is a good or bad thing But it also means that I am getting closer to my debt free date so I need to make sure I am on target. I have just over 8 months left :eek: and so I just need to knuckle down and hopefully can get it paid off sooner. But I also want to go to New York for my 30th birthday and I think we will need £3000 for both of us for 1 week, flight, hotel and spending money, so we need £8000 by September and that would make me debt free and also pay for our holiday. I really must work at it though and remember to budget every month and make sure we stick to it.

I thought I would update my 12 month goals to motivate myself as I have not been doing well with them :mad:

My 12 month goals:

• Finish College with as many Distinctions as possible 0/12
• Pay off my debt - £5500/£10500
• Clear my ebay boxes - 0/25 :mad:
• Save some money for drama school/university - £98.66

I need to get focused and make sure I get up to date on my college work before I go back on Monday. But I have been working more hours at the cinema, I must save the money though and not just waste it. If I can stay on target with my college work I will hopefully be able to get some ebaying done and make some money and also clear some of the boxes before they take over the whole house!

Here's to 2009 being my year! I am starting as I mean to go on as I am working :mad: but it is double time and I am doing 10 hours so I will be quids in!!
