Have you ever used an Urchin code?

I want to order a Phil & Teds, and urchin seems to have the best offers on them. I've found a working money off code (from hotdeals - as it's a good deal, but it would be even better with more off;) ) & it's says it's accepted, but doesn't appear to be taking any money off. Without entering my card details, I cannot go any further in the purchase.

Is this normal? Does it come off after I put in payment details, or shall I keep waiting for another code?

It's not on quidco sadly, but is on greasy palm.

I've finally found another code that works, & the discount is taken off before paying, so something wasn't right with the first one I found.
