What is Aftershave emulsion???

Hi

I'm probably going to sound a bit thick here, but have been looking at fragrance websites and came across the term "aftershave emulsion".

I'm not totally sure what this means, but I guess it's not your usual aftershave as it was a fair bit cheaper than the spray.

Could it be aftershave moisturiser?

Can anyone shed any light on the matter? What's the difference between emulsion in comparison with "splash" on aftershave and the spray on?

I have emailed them asking, but will probably take a few days to reply and the careline is closed until tomorrow

Basically, what this item is is an aftershave balm – it’s applied the same way as an aftershave splash (i.e. you dab it on, rather than spray it) but the consistency of the liquid is thicker (like a cream, almost) than a normal aftershave splash.;)
