  • I know this is a little cheeky but having just been overcharged for 4 packs of ecover do you think I could also send the receipt off with the voucher in the hope of a "try my free"? it does say "overcharged" on the receipt though!?

I was thinking about that myself :o

I guess you could always get a thick black marker pen to circle the Ecover purchase on the receipt and cunningly try to disguise the handwritten bit...

Or you could just buy one especially for a TMF at some point in the future (using all the money-off vouchers), and have enough washing powder for years :D

Im new to this site :j

Im pretty confused by this thread.(it doesnt take alot :D )

How do you find these? Do you just write with your till reciept and tell them you arent happy and why? Or do you just try them for free?

Also have you wrote to the same company more than once about different products?

Sorry if I am being totally stupid! Im trying to get 'qualified' in money saving :rotfl:
Thanks ever so much for any help

Someone did do a little synopsis somewhere - have you tried the beginning of the thread?

Basically there are 2 types of TMFs - some that are just a TMF (ie you can have your money back whatever), or those with a "guarantee" (ie you can have your money back if they are not the best/tastiest etc etc)

For any you generally need your till receipt, so try and put them on a separate one, generally only one per household, and they will usually state the terms and conditions, but generally along the lines of "in 15 words or more please state why...". Some require a SAE, most don't, and some will even refund you the postage of applying.

    HTH

Just ask if there's anything else you want to know - we are a small but friendly bunch on this thread!

I was lucky enough to get an Ecover R&Rd but didn't get the receipt marked, so it looks like I've paid a stonking £4.28 for it! Now, where are those pink stickers.....

Found a new 'Taste Challenge' today on CafeDeli sandwich fillings. These are in small jars, and you'll find them with the usual sandwich spreads like Shippams, etc. Found mine at Morrisons.

Looking at the site, it seems that this product might only be available at Morrisons and Nisa Today's stores.
I found mine at Tesco, so thankfully you can get this in other stores, too :D

Also, an update about Port Salut cheese: the TMF is on big round lumps (280g) too, not just the slices!

Found mine in Tesco yesterday and it cost £2.09, I think. :)
