Flu Jabs

My husband and son get it free I have to pay £20 to the GP but the same nurse does it at the same clinic. I just pay the receptionist and join the queue.0

Ten years ago, my mother had a flu jab and a month after that, a Pneumonia jab. She was told to have them by her GP because she was 65. Prior to the jabs she was in excellent health. Four weeks after getting both jabs she died. No-one bothered to check if she had any allergies and because the vaccine culture was grown on eggs (I don't know whether it still is nowadays) and my mum was highly allergic to eggs she started getting an allergic reaction and her doctor didn't treat her for allergies and as a result she died.
Everybody should read up on what is being injected into themselves and their families and make sure the doctor is fully aware of any health conditions and pre-exisiting health conditions before agreeing blindly to anything.
The jabs don't suit everybody and not everybody should have them.0 -

I am so sorry to hear that.
I think I will 'pass' again this year too. I don't really care what previous posters have said - and that it is 'coincidence' - I don't believe that for a second, I felt really rough for a couple of days.Genie
