Hello all,

this year i will need to buy or make xmas decorations (which ever is cheapist). Can anybody advise on the best place to get cheap craft stuff such glitter/feathers etc etc.

Try Wilkinsons if you have one near you. As they have a lot of bits and pieces in for craft making. Think it is mainly aimed at children and the prices are not to bad.

For creative bits, I suggest you try the pound shops (Poundland etc). They sell huge packs of metallic confetti, glitter, feather boas, etc. Many shops have great value christmas decorations. Do you have a Home Bargains in your area? I bought a luxury tinsel and baubles from there, spent less than £20 and have two sackfuls. Also Wilkinsons, very good selection of lights and fibre optic trees. If you dont mind taking a risk, wait until nearer Christmas, Wilkinsons reduce their decorations by up 75%.
