Not quite certain what the schedule refers to? Don't know if it means all the listed games are free or only the ones with the mirror symbols.
Perhaps someone will be able to clarify this.
I have tried to copy it out as accurately as possible.0 -
Whoops, for some reason the extra spacing I inserted in the bingo schedule has been deleted and it looks abit haphazard.
Basically the second rows need to be spaced to correspond with the first rows. Eg. 2pm £75, Mirror Bingo Symbol ?, 3pm £750 -
For ANY tokens or coupons, don't forget your friendly local library may keep the papers for a couple of weeks before recycling.
Ask to 'read' them and a few coupons etc may accidentally fall into your purse in an inexplicable razor blade incident.;)
Sadly, I won't be able to take up the offer myself as some thieving twonk nicks the middle pages every day to do the puzzles at his leisure.
People stealing from library newspapers. Unbelievable!
I am suprised this post hasnt been removed and even more suprised that anyone could click the thanks button.
I am a librarian and we regularly have to keep certain newspapers at the enquiry desk and hand them out from theire because they are ripped to pieces otherwise by people taking the coupons, puzzles or any other bits they fancy.
Yes, libraries do keep papers for a period of time before recyling this is because customers frequently want to refer to them sometimes several weeks later. How annoying if what you want to read is something that is on the back of a coupon that someone has decided to cut out for their own selfish ends.0 -

Actually you are making a fair point, forgive me for being flippant. However, it would be in the interests of the environment if I could get an OWL monitor, so perhaps that would add another environmental aspect to it?0 -

I must admit I did feel uneasy with the original post about clipping things out of library copies.
My friend works at the Library, so I too hear the other side of the coin. She would not take any coupons from library copies, nor give any to me, as they are kept for quite a time afterwards as Moneylover has said.
My Dad often used to spend a day in his local library catching up on the weeks papers - and to find gaping holes in the paper is NOT on.
I'm sure I have read several posters in the past mentioning scouring the local paper recycling bins to clip out coupons and vouchers, at least if someone has thrown them away, they have clearly finished with them.
I have managed to get coupons from papers/mags whilst at the hairdressers or coffee shop - but that is usually the end of the day, and more to the point, I always ask the owner/staff if I can take it.
I have never been refused so far, but they all look at me as if I am just a tad 'strange'.0
