Tesco 5p off fuel voucher

My coupon says valid until 20/09/08 on it, would this include that date or would it have ended today? Don't fancy filling up to be told it isn't valid!

I would have thought it would include the 20th. You could always ask the cashier before you fill up, just to be sure.

I got one yesterday but my local Tescos doesn't sell petrol and I would have to travel including both ways 40-45 miles

Ok thanks, I presumed it would, but thought I'd ask here. Have Tesco reduced fuel in light of cuts, as it was 109.9 round here, if it has been reduced to 106.9 in line with Asda and Morrisons, then I'll be getting fuel for 101.9 which would be very nice indeed.

Daily Mail says ' Tesco also said it was cutting the price of unleaded petrol at all of its 430 outlests, hinting strongly that it would match Morrisons' price cut.' However, the article didn't say when.

Probably realise with the voucher coming to an end, now is not the time to drop the price.

my local tesco put its price up 3p when the voucher started now its dropped down to 110.9p but in the next town 5 miles away its 106.9p at a independent garage

re the price: asda are 106.9 and tesco one mile away 109.9 currently, so if you have a voucher 104.9 (2p a litre, or a not very big 9p a gallon whoop de do). Tesco is on a major road, Asda on a back road in a big estate. Imagine the people they rip off with the higher price, those who think they are getting a bargain with the voucher, and those who have spent more than normal to get the voucher! No wonder tescos are making a killing.

I wonder if Tesco are holding back on reducing the price of petrol whilst the 5p off per litre promotion is running? Passed 2 Tesco today and price still 109.9, at Asda it is 106.9. Crafty heh?

You are lucky, my local Tesco is 112.9! Haven't got an Asda or Morrisons that sells fuel, so the 5p off (yes, valid up to and including the date quoted) made it cheaper than Shell at 109.9.
