I can't comment about your recording equipment Kraken, but the Maxell discs work on my dvd recorder. As you point out, if I did have a faulty disc (none so far) it would be easy to take them back to Morrisons.

Argos are now doing BOGOF on these Maxwell DVD+RW discs, catalogue number 534/1630 at £12.99 for 5 10 in the offer, which works out cheaper than the Morrisons offer mentioned earlier.

OK, but even with BOGOF that's £1.29 per disk.

Why not buy them online? For example (and I'm not sure if these are the identical disks to the ones you're talking about):

    https://www.cd-rmedia.co.uk

have Maxell DVD+RW's at 79p (inc VAT) each.

OK you have to pay extra for p&p, but that still works out at:

£1.29 per disk (for an order of 10)
£1.14 per disk (for an order of 20)
£0.93 per disk (for an order of 50)
£0.86 per disk (for an order of 100)
    etc....

PC World (God love 'em) had spindles of 25 Imation DVD+RW for about £17 a couple of weeks ago. They were in the middle of the main aisle on a plinth. Not listed on the website though.

I sell Bulkpaq for 50p per disc ???

Only at the car boot though, not over the Internet :D
  • Unusually Sainsbury beat Morereasons for once :o, they have the same bogof for £7.99 so cost each is £1.33.

OK if you need some in a hurry, and Tesco have some mr.data ones ,site down at mo so cant give price.

Best and usually cheapest to get them in bulk at computer fairs. the ones that sell quickest are the bargains, like Ritek,

E.G. dvd-r can be got for as low as 12p each, and no postage.
    Moi....? ;)
