  • Have used a couple of money off vouchers this week, more tips to add, and sold a few things at work so very happy with my total.

Not adding to my total but got petrol yesterday for 88.9p!!!
Can't believe I'm excited at that.

    Hello :)

I think everyone deserves a round of applause as this mini-challenge just goes to show that every penny counts and that when we're down, we're not necessarily out. :T :T :T

I've hardly done a thing in the past week or 2, what with moving house and having family come to stay for a few days. But I have, at last, managed to break through the halfway mark, as per signature. I've had to update it a few times, as I've had 2 x £10 pay-outs from free scratchcards, another £24.40 from cashback plus £50 in gift from family and a few more £2 coins to add to the collection. Not much by way of eBid or eBay sales, but I'm still looking for stuff to sell via Gumtree ads, as they seem to be fairly successful for me. I sold £35 worth of my vouchers, so that has gone into my £1000 in 100 days pot, too.

Keep up the good work. We've got 34 days left to go :)

Hi all, back from hols now. Hope everyone is doing well, will try and catch up at some point. I found a cheque when I was decluttering so I put it in the bank before I went away and am really pleased to say it cleared :T So that's £110 I totally wasn't expecting! :D

Hi Bails, glad you had a great time (hope the wee man on the hill is OK :D)

Double scratchcards today and I got a total of £6 Happy.gif I should be able to withdraw another £10 before long! Now, if I could just win about £3,500 on the Premium Bonds next week, that would make my 4k for next year's cost of living challenge :D

  • Hi all,
Just checking in to say I reached £1000 on day 66 :j:j:j partly due to a freak incident... ahem ;) and partly because I got my £50 qype voucher. I'm going to keep going though so will try to meet my other target (another £200 before new year).

    Hope you're all doing good!

ETA: I also received a £5 Topshop giftcard today in the post with a small slip of paper which said 'here is your gift voucher - enjoy spending'... I definitely didn't order it from anywhere so it's a mystery!

:j  Well done, CompletelyLost! I am soooooooooo far behind everyone else and need to do far more catching up than I'm currently doing! Losing a few £00s to the Woolies collapse hasn't helped! That'll teach me for forgetting to check share prices! I now need to play a serious game of catch-up just to make it to the £1000 mark and can't think how, as I've got rid of most of my clutter and nobody wants to buy my tumble dryer. :o Must check and find out if I got an extra £ for logging into bingo site, Bails, are you with Littlew00ds or Butl!ns for the St M!nver ones?

Huge bonus will be when my December payment arrives from t0pca$hback, as my £68 from A$da insurance has, at last, been confirmed, so I've over £100 in there due by the end of this year. If I could just make it up with a few more pay-outs, I could scrape my way to the £1000, but won't hold my breath. :D

Keep up the good work, everyone!
