i am the opposite way round, a book that i wanna sell is going for a lot more on amazon, but i dunno how to do that, and i wanna start carbooting soon but it looks scary!
it must be that none of them are actually scary :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

well I got made redundant this week  so I need every penny I can get.
Please add my name to the list.
Only just manage the grocery challenge every month  so this will be a challenge.
Off to look at the £10 thread for ideas.
where/how do you get paid for surveys?0 -
Ooh can I join please - I have so much stuff to sell I could do with a motivator.
Congrats on your win jenjade x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Can I join in on this too please? I'm looking to boost my savings as much as possible and I think this will be a good way. I'm looking to be selling some stuff on ebay, I have hoarded so much over the past few years and hopefully I will find some other ways to boost my total too. If anyone has any ideas I will be very greatful if you could all share them. Thanks.0

Congratulations on the £500 win, Jenjade! That would have made an excellent start for you and it is so honourable of you to admit to the win now rather than wait until next week. Thank you for bolstering my faith in honesty
Welcome newcomers, don't worry if you haven't taken part in this kind of challenge before as it will be a first for me, despite the number of times I have MEANT to try. I think it will be more fun and less challenging (even if I fail) just knowing that we are all in the same boat trying to do this.
Names should all be up to date. I've started preparing by listing on eBid but would be interested in finding out how Amazon works, as I have piles and piles of paperback books needing rehomed. Where I live isn't the best for doing carboot sales, and I don't actually own a car, never mind a boot, but there is a winter festival here, so I may try and have a stall of some sort
Tonight I have applied to L*ghtspeed via a cashback site, and completed my P*necone application, so fingers crossed for them. Are we allowed to name these places here? I also do ip*ints, mutualp*ints, p!gsback and use a cashback site, but living on a £4000 budget means that I don't spend very much and tend to rely on offering to shop on behalf of family. I haven't really got into the competitions side of things yet, although I have entered a couple, I do have some premium bonds that have won me a couple of £50 prizes in the past, and I also play free bingo online once a week.
I, too, would welcome any hints, tips or suggestions for extra income generation. If anyone can point me in the direction of the free clicks list, I'd appreciate that, too, thanksI reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
