my neighbour found this slow cooker in argos and was delighted that it was half price

Yes, 500 nectar points is worth £2.50 in argos. I had £5 (1000 points)worth so it made it only £6.49 for me.

This offer still on. Has anyone bought it and used it? I'm thinking of buying one as a Christmas present but don't want to get friend a rubbish one. Other ones too large as sh is on her own........................well not exactly she does have her dog! :xmassmile0

Yes it is seems fine to me. But I am no Slow cooker expert. Made yummy rice pudding and also cooked a gammon in it.
No complaints from me.
