    I've used whisky before now. You add it after boiling, and stir it well in just before potting up.
    If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Hi,

    I made whisky marmalade a couple of years ago: fill all the jars and then stir a tablespoon of good single malt into each one. (IMHO its not worth using the cheap alcohol for cooking as the cook has to drink it too!) ;)
