M&S Weekend Offer

Popped into M&S to see if they were doing their dine in for £10 deal..

they weren't but they had a different deal instead - half price dining for the weekend.

From memory available was...

2x place fillets £1.80
Butter basted chicken ready to roast £2.99
Cook! Duck a l'orange £3.99
Meatballs £2.79
Carbonara (who the f** buys carbonara ready made?? it's just pasta with egg + cream!!)

I got there just in time to watch a lady scrape the last of the shelf contents into her trolley and stroll off towards the checkout, leaving me staring at an empty fridge unit!

Might be worth others checking their local store the chicken would be particularly good value if it's normal M&S standard + size (happy chicken!) but I couldn't tell as there were none left!

We had the carbonara for lunch yesterday with their garlic ciabatta, and it was delicious - loads there, enough for 3 I would say, and £2.79 instead of £5.59. Tonight we had their chicken joint with half price croquettes and cauliflower cheese, all from M&S - their food really is the best around!! I hope they do this again this week, if they do then I'm there !!

Incidentally, does anyone know if this offer (or a similar one) is going to be repeated this or next week? They did have some fab deals last week.

The 2 dine for £10 offer starts tomorrow until Sunday. Sorry don't know whats on offer yet but will find out.
