Anyone got Simpsons Series 6 DVD (Homer's head box)?

Need advice. Buying this as a present for someone who already has the first 5 series.
What I want to know is: is there a normal DVD box set (which matches the other series) inside the Homer's head box or is it different?

She wants it to match and they now sell a normal (non-head) box one:

But if this is in the head anyway I might as well get that (both are same price).
So, anyone out there who knows...?

As the 'head' one is a limited edition one, I know which I'd rather have!

She wants it to match the ones on her shelf though. If it has a normal one inside the head then fine, but otherwise I would get the normal one.hells wrote:As the 'head' one is a limited edition one, I know which I'd rather have!
Come on, someone must have it - it is one of the most popular TV shows of all time...0 -
No, the disks inside are in plain white cardboard sleeves and they just sit loose.
I wondered the same and went into WHSmith to see for myself and the very helpful assistant showed me the inside.
Also I thought the tin was metal, it's not - it's very cheap plastic and will likely crack easily.
I ended up getting the other Digi Pack as I though the head was rubbish tbh. Nice to look at but rubbish.Herman - MP for all!

Thanks - that's exactly what I wanted to know. Will make sure I get the proper one instead. :Taliasojo wrote:No, the disks inside are in plain white cardboard sleeves and they just sit loose.

Thanks for the tip, but based on aliasojo's advice I think I will get the normal one instead. I really should go to the mc arthur glen place though sometime - I picked a leaflet in the sports centre once and I know I would like it there!gentlepurr wrote:i saw the homer head dvd set in mc arthur glen factory outlet vigin shop yesterday. dont know if its in all the virgin shops now.

Not sure of a release date in the UK yet though...
The Homer head is 'limited' to 30,000 I believe. I've asked for the head version as an xmas present.0
