will this show on my credit report/history

Evening all
i have recently paid off, just three months early a loan i had from hfc through pc world - (for a computer - surprise surprise lol)
i had called them, gotten an early settlement figure, and paid the stated amount immediately by debit card .
today i received an arrears letter - when i called them they said it was just the way their books work - it had me in arrears for the interest difference between going full term and paying on the early date i did. not a huge amount BUT....
its an arrears letter and although they have said they will send out a paid in full leter in the next few days - i was wondering if this can or will ever show up as an arrears on my credit history.

shouldn't do really. most companies only update the CRA's on a monthly to six week basis, so hopefully they will sort out the mess internally prior to sending the info to the CRA. if not then you can always dispute it with the CRA and request the loan company to remove it. if you have written proof from them it has been settled in full it should be all the easier.0
