shrek3, could you tell us more about the letter your sister got? #What does the terms and conditions state on the letter? I don't want to have to pay for a TV if Littlewoods decide the offer wasn't for me.
Littlewoods terms and conditions:
"If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account."0 -
Advice = Littlewoods FIRST customers recieve different codes to normal customers and they would clearly know if a FIRST code was used on a NORMAL account.
For example- BNPL for FIRST customers have different terms to other accounts including the exclusion on having to take the goods over ext terms.
Post a reply if a FIRST code has worked for you on a normal account i will be surprised, but i am 99% it wont/shouldnt.

Whats a FIRST customer and how do I become one?0

i had a code for a free dvd player, it was of a forum and used it got the item and then 2 months down the line littlewoods, added the cost of the dvd player to my account, as they checked up and i had not received the mailing in the post or via the internet so would not honor the free gift !!
so beware, you may get charged in a few months time as they do check up, they know who gets the letters0 -
Good advice kurjam. It's possible that they only check the authenticity of the code once the goods have went past their return date, therefore leaving you with no other option but to pay up.0

Hi, I've just placed an order by phone using the code, and the woman said it had been accepted, but then didn't mention delivery date.
I've just checked the online tracker, the item I ordered (wii fit) is showing, but not the TV, do you think it should show up there?0 -
after the issues months ago with people using codes not for them i would be very wary of using codes you are not entitled to !.i will be surprised if they just accept.you have been warned .......0
