i have signed up for tesco dvd rental. very confused. I went for the 1 unlimted dvd a month no games. I have a 14 days free trial. But what do I get with the free trial - 1 unlimted dvd a month no games?

I used the ccaug4 code but I have not been given any infomation in 'my account' now about the 1000 teaco points each month for the first 3 months.

help please

just had an email back from tesco dvd rental -

Thank you for your email and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

'we would like to inform you that the promotion code "CCAUG4" you have entered at the time of registration entitles you to receive "14 day FREE trial and 500 CC points per month for the 1st 3 months" therefore these points will be applied on your 3rd payment.'

but I thought I would get 1000 points each month?

It doesn't really matter if I get 1000 points in my account for 3 months or 3000 points after 3 months though

You get 500 points per month for the first 3 months, not 1000. So, at the end of the 3 months you will be credited with 1,500 cc points

I also got an email back from the help center saying that I would get just 500 points after the third payment was made

We would like to inform you that 500 club card points will be added after we receive the first 3 payments. We can confirm according to our records that we have received only one payment. We can confirm to you that club card points will be added to your account once your three monthly subscription payments are received.

So I pointed out to them that point 10 of the T&Cs on the signup page ( http://www.tescodvdrental.com/partners/rentalx.html ) clearly states:-

10. Within 30 days from dispatch of your first disc, we will award your 1st 500 monthly Tesco Clubcard points, to your Tesco Clubcard account. Your 2nd and 3rd 500 monthly Tesco Clubcard points will be awarded within 30 days of your 2nd and 3rd payments respectively.

So hopefully they will add some points for me soon. I'm not letting them off a 1,000 points!

I have had a lovefilm trial, does that mean that I can't take up this offer? I don't care about the free trial, I want to join something like this anyway. But the points would be brilliant.
