Hi, I want to make a calender using my own digital pics, is there anywhere you can download the templates to create these on the computer. I wouldnt mind doing some xmas cards too. I have seen the ones you can buy in the shops where you send your photos off and they do them for you but wanted to do them myself at home.............thanks

You're very welcome, glad you enjoyed it. Here's another site for making cards both with, and without, your own photos...
https://www.mycardmaker.com/
Look for the section 'Card with own photo'....
Think you have to sign up to print the cards but it's free!♥♥♥ Genius - 1% inspiration and 99% doing what your mother told you. ♥♥♥0 -
I also want to make my own cards. Can anyone tell me what type of paper or card you should print on to and where do you buy it?
thanks0 -

For the two-fold type cards any stiffish paper or thin white card will do. For the bigger single fold cards you need something a bit more substantial. Any stationers/WHSmith-type places do this sort of stuff. You can also get proper card-type 'kits', (if you can find the 'Avery' thread on here in the Freebies you can get free samples of these), which consist of a sheet of card with the fold(s) already indicated and a matching envelope.
To be honest you don't have to be too fussy...just try with any old card/paper...even coloured card can sometimes work.
PS Here's the link
