Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.0

What's your price range, what else will/might you want to use it for, what screen size do you want? (15.4 is fairly standard and reasonably portable). Most basic laptops today will do charts and photoshop without a problem.
For example we recently replaced one of ours with a decent 15.4 HP from PCWorld (don't like them but it was convenient) for £329. Looked on their website first and had to ask for it specially as wasn't on display.
But you can get cheaper/better deals--we needed to replace a broken one urgently, or would have gone elsewhere.0 -
