oliviasmammy wrote: »Hi, just wondering if anyone who has the parenting club on both your and partners cards at the same address have had any problems with boots suspending your cards? After reading some of previous posts im wondering whether to cancel it from my dh's card or just leave it and take a chance, i definately dont want my card being suspended as I have too many points on it but if I cancel it from dps I wonder if it will draw attention to it - hope this makes sense! Think dp's card only has a couple of quid on it it hardly ever gets used
And then I'd cancel the cards and get some new "clean" ones registered at a neighbour's or relative's address.
Edit - obviously, then don't do anything "dodgy" on the new cards that could get someone else in trouble. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

OFF TOPIC
Does anyone have a copy of today's free booklet inside The Guardian, called "How to Write Memoirs & Biographies," that they don't want? I checked two news agents and both had none, and the second one told me there was some kind of problem today and they weren't getting any. I'm hoping this is just in my neck of the woods and people got them elsewhere.
I would gladly send an SAE (I can weigh one of the guides from earlier in the week to make sure the postage is correct), and will toss in a voucher if I've got anything you want. TIA0 -
Hi everyone. Just got a quick question about the mag insert for the half price mens FCUK weekend bag. Does the till beep if you try getting the other FCUK bag as well that's free wys £5?
I'm going to give it a try (thanks Lea_t88 for the coupons!) but I'm such a chicken I'd rather give it a go on the ss till!
Oh another question too! My sister gave me some extra points coupons from a parenting club mailing - 500 points wys £10 on baby, free olay wipes wyb moisturiser, and a few more. There's no name on them. I am a member of the pc but as my daughter's almost 4 now I don't receive any offers any more. So will I be able to use those coupons without getting into trouble? I don't want risk my advantage card being taken away!
Thanks xx0 -

You're not the only one that feels that way, there was a column about how that perfume is an offensive idea, lol.0 -
Hi all
finally got some reduced toys at the Fort. I only left about half an hour ago so hope this helps someone.
Got Dora and Bob the Builder Skates £3.75 each
Dora Game £3.25
Dora Inflatable Chair £2.25
Fisher Price Baby Mat Toy thing £3xx (sorry rubbish descriptions)
and some other bits. Also all on 3 for 2
They are as you walk in the door nearest the perfume counters, there are no SEL so don't think anyone realised they are so cheap. Even the SA couldn't believe it
Hope this helps someone

I would've said yes a few months ago, but many people have had cards pulled -- some who weren't in PC but used coupons they got off eBay. Which leads me to think there is a teeny, tiny risk of trouble if you use any coupon you're not entitled to. I do think the risk is very small in your case, though. The one person I remember who got in trouble for using coupons was flagged by SAs for using them while not being in PC, rather than Boots actually going through and checking everyone's card to see what coupons they used. I doubt you'd have a problem unless an SA questioned the coupon, which they almost never do and they would see you listed as being in PC, anyhow, so wouldn't report it.
If you're worried, one way around it is to make the purchases with your sister's card (assuming she is the one entitled to use them), then buy yourself something with the points.0 -
Thanks for the advice skibster. My sister still lives in Wales and I won't be going back until xmas now so won't be able to use her card but that's a good idea for the next time.
I think I may risk it for the save £4 wyb olay moisturiser and the free TS conditioner but won't use my advantage card just in case.
