Morning all,

Just a quick (and potentially stupid) question does anyone know if Slim Fast is on 3 for 2 instore? And if so does the online glitch work the same on the smoothies instore?

I've never used slim fast before, but I got tempted by getting 6 for 1 and thought it couldn't be any worse than me grabbing a mouthful of junk inbetween taking care of my baby and running around after my manic 3 year old

Just received my order, as well as my 2 EA 8 hour lippies and GWP

This morning I can't get the health club discount on smoothies online. It worked last night (I was saving it to see if some laundry liquid would come back in stock, and it hasn't). AND the Boots site is no longer adding 500 points for spends over 40, even though that offer hasn't ended. Here I was being good and just getting things I can use, and even that won't work, lol.

Slimfast is 342 in store. The smoothie glitch reportedly works, though I messed up by not using my card (as I was working other glitches, too). I will say the Slimfast smoothies are just OK, not great (you can make *much* better ones with frozen blueberries or other fruit and some low-fat yogurt that's been popped in the freezer for an hour, along with some skimmed milk -- thick, cold and delicious!). But the Slimfast ones are much more convenient, and nice to have on hand for when you're in a rush. The Slimfast chocolate shakes are very good, but the glitch only works on smoothies.

However they are also on the '3 for 2 on selected beauty products offer', but instead of going into basket as 3 for 2 at £4.66 (£9.32 total) they are going in as £6.99 for all 3, so a saving of £13.98 on correct price

This is also working on the Colorsport 30 day Black (Code 1220012) & Brown (Code 1220004) Mascara's which work out £7.25 for 3, a saving of £14.50 on correct price

I really should make my own, my freezer is full of lovely healthy homemade foods for the kids, I just never seem to find the time to have it myself this is a case of [strike]laziness[/strike] convenience :rotfl:

In fact there's not much room in my 2 freezers :eek: ...probably the hundreds of cubes of purees for DS made with my Annabel Karmel cube trays... from Boots

I would say if there is something you really want buy it before the sales as there is no guarantee what will be in the sales. In my experience there is always a big que at the shop n the morning and when you get in people grab anything and everything. The better items don't last long. If there is something i really want i ask for it for my birthday (19th) or for Christmas and anything i can get in the sale is a bonus.
