    Boots.com'ers BEWARE!

Sorry if repeating and someone else has already posted....

Yesterday i tried putting my order through and got that sodding error msg, then retried and got the ccnnxxxxx type message.
However, when i went to my orders, it had gone through and showed as processing!
Also got the confirmation email too.

What i am worried about is the fact that last time this happened, my account balance showed as being minus twice the amount of the order i.e they had charged me twice, although it hadn't actually left my account.
It took over a week to go back onto my available balance.
If this happens this time im screwed as i paid on credit card and twice would push me over my limit!

Anyway got 2300 points for a £50 ish order

    Lancome x 2 = 1000
Boots expert waxing strips - 100 points
    Order over £40 - 500 points
Code for order over £50 - 500 (dont have the code now as it doesn't show but sure it was off here)
    Normal order points - 200

Once i have added my pending points on my balance will be 15730 woohoo!
Trying to get it to 20000 before xmas to buy a gift experience.

Does anyone know if the 250 points voucher in the mag DEFINATELY works again if you get several mags? The one for joining repeat prescription service?
Saw that someone on here used it twice but maybe she was lucky and they have cottoned on now?

Electrical voucher wouldn't work with no7 for me. I had eyelash curler x3 @£5.99. So £5.98 to pay (plus other bits) SA told me the electrical voucher isn't valid for no7, although she did try scanning it for me. But it didn't deduct £5.

    This was in Staines.

The £5 off electrical voucher doesn't seem to be working on 'battery' operated 'electricals'. Just the mirrors as they are 'plug into mains' type. Someone pls corect me if i'm wrong on this :o

EDIT, please ignore my blondeness in this answer and move swiftly on :D >>>>

    xx

I thought the problem was that you needed to spend £30 - so the mirrors qualify and the smaller "electricals" don't?

Not that I've got any electrical vouchers - I got one and binned it in disgust! :rotfl:
    Silly me!
  • Sk I think they only work on the mirrors as they are the only item originally over £30
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

Hi hun, just tried this out. Doing it this way it ends up just applying the 1/2 price discount at checkout and not the 342 aswell, so it ends up still costing just under £60 for 3x. Cheers for trying though :kisses3:

    xx

Ive done it this way and it works with 342 aswell, shame though as i want to get them in store so i can use my voucher!! xx
:jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j

Quick update for peeps; I tried the 1p Johnson's Top to Toe Wash glitch in my local store today. I had several other things in my basket, but the SA noticed straight away that it came up as 1p and said that it should be 99p. I just smiled and said that I would leave it thanks. :p
Never mind, I really didn't need it anyway. I just can't resist a bargain...8g7ratl.gif :rotfl:
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
  • SK I got the 3 for £19.99 doing it this way:confused: How weird.

That makes perfect sense, so it'll work on the footspa's aswell then as they are also originally £40 too.
Aww :( i liked my theory, but you're right  Doh. lol
