from https://www.thebabycatalogue.com go to clearance section and then to nappies & training. 2 sizes to choose from Infant 4-10kg and Toddler 10-20kg the nappies are priced at £3.00 each and the p & p is £4.50. Placed an order on Monday and the nappies arrived today. They are actually boots nappies and come in the original packaging. The original price of £8.00 is correct as I bought some from Boots at the end of July. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the link BunBun. I ordered mine and just received it today. You're right they come in the Boots packaging. What did you think of the packaging materials that the company used (i.e. the box and packaging from PHP, not the individual Boots packets)? My box arrived with old greasy chicken bones at the bottom - gross!
edit: I complained and they rang me back immediately. Lots of apologies and a refund. Nice to hear that they have taken it seriously and are doing something about it. Shame I had to receive the extraneous bits in the first place!0 -
Hi
Thanks for this, I have ordered some, but was just wondering how you rated them? Are they any good? Can you tumble dry them, if absolutely necessary? Do they leak a lot?
Thanks in advance

We've been using ours for a couple of days now and no leaks so far (wasn't using any extra boosting materials either), even at night she went 6 hrs in the nappy with no leakage. No redness on DD's derriere nor red marks round the leg gussets (which is what I thought she might get what with them being plasticcy). I washed mine 3 times before use and then tumble dried on low setting - it advises on the packaging to dry on low setting, I guess high setting might melt/deteriorate the plastic outer. The flannelette got a bit pilled after the washing. I bought some microfleece from the market to cut up and use as liners. These are the first reusables we've tried so have nothing to compare with, but they certainly seem to be doing the job so far.0

Thanks Pigletmoo, I have 5 kids out of nappies, but expecting number 6. We really don't want to use disposables and so I thought at this price these would be a good starting point. They sound great. I have ordered quite a few in both sizes. I had quite a good look at them in Boots last year and they look similar to the Kushies so we'll see how they go.:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0

Hi I haven't used these nappies but have used Kushies. If they're similar to Kushies they aren't likely to be much good I'm afraid, but that is relative to a good cloth nappy. Disposables leak quite a bit with baby poo at times so they probably won't be any worse than them.

My packaging was fine - so sorry to hear that yours wasn't Piglet_Moo & good on you for contacting them.
I've had no problems with the Boots washable nappies, as mentioned in my original post I had bought the same nappy at Boots & never had problems with them.
Afraid I can't answer the bit about using a tumble dryer as I don't have one.
Again I have found Kushies to be ok, but sometimes place a booster pad in at night, no major leakages worth worrying about.0 -
Thanks for that. I am really pleased with them, they arrived yesterday. They are very similar to the Kushies, and contrary to your experience shirl, when I used them for dd1 and 2 they were fine. I think each baby is different and it is trial and error. I have als never had any problems with disposables leaking baby poo!!! The newborn one's that I used all had a lovely poo layer and caused me no grief at all!
I cannot afford to spend huge amounts on reuseables, and these look like a very good start to a collection. With the Kushies, I had no problem with leaking (wee or poo) and the only reason I gave up was due to having 3 in nappies at the same time, and not being able to keep up with the washing!!! I have hardcore reuseable nappy friends, who go on and on about Motherease etc but to be honest they are very expensive to start with, and these all-in-ones are the closest to a disposable style, which is the only thing my husband will cope with.
Lots of people do find Kushies work well!:starmod: I am not that savage :heartpuls But I am a Vixen :staradmin0 -
Just placed an order. They sound really good and at that price I won't be so bothered if they're rubbish
Thanks for posting the link!0
