I ordered a box set 2 weeks ago online and got an e mail 4 days later telling me it was out of stock and they would try and get it asap. Finally this morning I have had an e mail saying it is back in stock and being despatched. So there seems to be no guarantee you will get what you want. They do not charge your card though until it is despatched.

Stop ordering on line and get in the store! My store has Friends box sets at £70 still in stock and also Guitar Hero 3 on Wii at £40 - sometimes you get great deals in store as well as on our website too !

Just got "2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps" series 1-4. 5 dvds for less than £12. the 1-6 set is over £60.

Ps not to everyones taste there have been 7 series plus some specials so far. Often repeated on BBC3 but they tend to be later episodes.

I wasn't able to order online during the week, but had intended ordering online at the weekend. I thought my luck was out when I saw it was back up to original price on the website. However I did go into my local HMV in Portsmouth Gunwharf and managed to get one yesterday at £40

According to a fellow manager, the deal from the suppliers is available on re-orders too (most of our sale deals in store are 'while stocks last').. so as long as the supplier has them in stock then it will be as long as possible until they 'pull the plug' so to speak. I will be on the blower in the morning finding out what's what as my store only has a couple left now.

does anyone know how long the free delivery takes??? as i'm ordering some stuff for xmas which wont matter but its someones birthday on Thursday and they want to Sex and the City movie, will it arrive in time??? (not ordered it yet and its 1.42pm now)
