I ordered a PC from PC world on Sunday 21st Nov. Obviously I scoured all sites for codes and tried all those on your site RM, but NONE of them worked. I even rang PCW to complain as I am a registered member of one of the sites whose codes you list (the TEACHERPCW code). They said they had scrapped the discount a few days ago. I was not happy as the PC was over £700 and I was looking at a fair saving. It looks like they've got wise to people using them.
Do you have any info on this?

Funny that - it seems that I only have ONE code currently listed for PC World and that code actually works (just tested it 5 minutes ago). Are you sure that you were looking at my site and not someone else's?

Come to think of it I looked at code lists other than yours, but I did look at yours and I did try that code on Sunday and it didn't work. On the weekend they had £50 off £500, so I assume they were not allowing that code to be used as well. Believe me I tried all codes about 10 times each without success.
As it happens they've since contacted me to say they can't fulfil my order, so I might still be able to swing some extra discount out of them when I renogotiate over the phone. Another 5% off would do me!

Just tried your code AND the code TEACHERPCW (also 5%). Surprise surprise they both worked, so my suspicions about them 'suspending' the codes while the £50 off weekend deal was on are right. It also explains why the woman on the phone said the TEACHERPCW code had been scrapped just days before.
I'll get back to the Teachers-discount website and get them to chase up my 5% discount.
The good news is that they have 'reinstated' the codes after the weekend.

Result!
After my card payment was not accepted, I went back on the PCW site and saw the PC I'd ordered reduced by £70 (it was £50 off on the weekend).
I tapped in TEACHERPCW, got a further 5% off, so my order came to £60 less than it did on Sunday. Hope the card works this time.
