usa style fridge/freezer

hi i am looking into buying a large usa style freezer, but as usual i am lost in the choice. do they have to be plumbed in, i realise they do if you want ice and chilled water but if i dont want that can i get away with it not being plumbed in. also any recommendations out there.

thanks in advance

  • Hiya,

I have a USA style fridge freezer and have never had it plumbed in, so it's not a problem. It would be nice to have the option of ice and water, but I can't fit the fridge near any plumbing connections.

As for recommendations, I'm not that good at things like that. I have a Samsung and hasn't let me down yet! Cost about £799 new but got it for £549, I've had it a few years so you could probably pick it up for even cheaper now!
