oh and just to let everyone know, that the promo for free ipod speakers when you spend £10.00 at https://www.ipodworld.co.uk is still active. I ordered some skins yesterday and entered the code when prompted at checkout. When the page refreshed it said 'promotion code excepted'

ive got two nano's ...one for my wife and one for my son for xmas ... ordered through apple education link .....

each has tiny scratches on the rear case (on arrival)..... rub them with a cloth and they scratch .... unbelievable !!!

phoned apple and tried to get them exchanged ... they wanted to charge me £30 as they are engraved .....

anyway after an hour (free phone call) he eventually got sick of me and we agreed on a £50 discount and two packs of nano skins ....

they are going to scratch anyway so didnt see the point in replacing them ...

the moral : never give in and use the long silence method .
