Cheap accommodation for 1 night near Inverness

Hi, I am looking for 1 night's accommodation for 5 people and 1 small dog for 25/10/08 nearish Inverness. We are staying in Skye for one week so anywhere between there and Inverness would be fine. Has anyone got any ideas? We don't want too spend much for the 1 night.

Cheapest would probably be one of the hostels, but not sure if they'd allow a dog. There's an SYHA and a few independants in Inverness, SYHA by Loch Ness, and an independant in Drumnadrochit

And there's travel inn type places in Inverness, though these are a bit bland and generic, as you'd expect

Have stayed in the travelodge before and it was fine.

When I went on family holidays to Torridon (from Yorkshire) we stayed in a travelodge/inn/whatever it's called in Inverness. Absolutely fine, but we used to go to Tesco for breakfast which was far cheaper.

Enjoy Skye, we've just had our annual few days there, it's a wonderful place.
