This Christmas's 'MUST HAVE' gifts & WHERE to find them

I'm trying to get ahead of the game & thinking about Christmas NOW. After having been caught out with the whole Wii thing last year (& hence paying over the odds for it), I want to catch the wave early this time. AND help out other MSEers in the process.
What do you guys think will be the 'must have' items this year? Where have you spotted them at a good price? I figure if I can spread the season of cheer & spending over the coming months, it won't hurt my pocket quite so much.
I know some people will think that 'must have's are unimportant & not what Christmas is about, but please don't have a go at me. I'm asking for help that I'm sure others can benefit from too. HOPEFULLY we'll stave off those posts about "Where can I find a purple streaked fuzzbun for my son's Christmas present?"

It's very good, my daughter got it last christmas and still plays with it alot. Infact she takes it with us, whenever we go swimming, I'm sure you are probably not meant to, because of the chlorine, but these things only get played with for a short while, so I thought she might as well get the most out of it. It's still working and people are fascinated by it when they see it.0 -

My 15 year old daughter has just had her birthday and got a Wii and a Wii Fit (which was for me really), so apart from a few games, I don't know what we'll get her - just a few little things to open I suppose. Wouldn't we have loved to have a Wii or a DS when we were kids?0
