What is happening with regards to income based JSA, one of you should be able to get some money in, then rent and c/t.

Have your tried macdonalds? The one here is recruiting and according to the news of late the are doing well in the current climate.

Hi,
I saw that the post office in my area are looking for people to help in the run up to Christmas. Might be work popping to your local sorting office and enquiring. I'm guessing they work on a shift basis (the nights pay more) so you could work out what shift is better for you.
Also a lot of the supermarkets and clothing shops will also be looking with the run up to Christmas.

That's a good selection, a quick Google search of a term like uk jobs gives a fairly decent list of job sites. Basically I'd suggest signing up with as many as you can, and getting your CV online as soon as possible, ready for the seasonal job positions.
