Help please such a dilema

Hi, Me and my partner have about £10,000 worth of debt between us that we are really struggling to pay.

We called a debtmanagement team and they asked for all our debters and amounts we owed.

We gave them them all and have arranged to pay £250 per month to the debt management team to get us out of this black hole.

One problem is i'm sure i have more debt somewhere that i have fobbed off at previous addresses i know its wrong but really need to find them and get them sorted.

They are not on my credit report with experian, any idea how i find them? I need to get there details to pass to the debt managements company to add to our debt.


Please help.

Is your DMP with a non-fee paying company such as CCCS, CAB or Payplan? If not, please move to one of these companies.

Not sure how you can trace old debt if you have no paperwork sorry

However I am going to echo Deep In Debt and say you need to get away from that Debt Company .. you are paying them £250 a month which is money you could be paying to clear your debt even quicker!!! Companies like Payplan and CCCS do exactly the same job for free so I would make your priority to move to them!

You obviously will recommend your fee charging company as they pay your wages and if everyone went to a free charity, you would be out of a job.

OP, to echo what the others have said, DO NOT use a company that charges you a fee for doing what CCCS or PayPlan will do for free. PLEASE ring one of the them, if only to get their advice.

Your debts may not all show on Experian as there are 3 credit reference agencies and different companies use different ones. You need to get your report from all three of them.
