For Clothes, food and cleaning products? Do you get them all at the same place or shop around?

Hi daisyburps,
As this is a shopping thread rather than old style I've moved it across to the Shop but Don't Drop board where you'll find lots of threads on offers available in different supermarkets.

If you live in the North or the Midlands you can't beat Home Bargains for stuff like cleaning materials, toiletries and small items of homeware. Also great for toys if need to buy birthday/Christmas pressies for kids.

I live in London and fruit and veg can be found at a fraction of the price from corner shops and other fruit/veg sellers.
Other products such as food and domestic items I would go to co-op or tesco (if you time it right you can get some great clearance deals - around 8pm for shops that shut around 10pm)0 -

The Homebargains in my town is a poky little shop, with hardly any room and just 2 tills. You have to stand in the queue and pick the stuff off the shelves as you stand in line.I don`t go in often for that reason, plus the wait to be served etc.:mad:0 -
I buy Ecover cleaning products from Supermarkets when they have special offers on.
I buy toothpaste etc from Poundland.
I buy fruit from the local market and I buy more expensive clothes (from Coast) which tend to last.0 -
