I have been scouring the shops for a car mount with swan-neck and/or Vent mount for my pda since I have sat nav loaded on it. Didn't want one with power leads etc since that bumps up the price.
Found one in my local O2 shop that was priced at £12.99 and fits a treat. Intended for an XDA but would suit most pda.
Best part was when scanned at the till, it was reduced to £10.99.
Well pleased.

Hi manhattan,
On the box, there is a statement that the 02 XDA in car holder is also compatible with the XDA IIs/IIi. I do not quite know which model the XDA mini refers to though.
Using a ruler, the width of the padded 'jaws' are 50mm fully retracted extending to 80mm fully extended.
The 'feet' at that hold the bottom edge of your PDA, XDA etc adjust sideways a little so that any plugs, chargers, etc should not foul. They protude 15mm from the backplate. The xda is 17mm thick.
It looks like anything upto 110mm high would fit ok fully supported. There are no projections at the top so something slightly higher would also fit.
From some specs on the web, the mda compact is 108 mm x 58 mm x 18.1 mm and the xda mini is functionally the same with exactly the same dimensions.
Hope this helps,

Hi Kelly,
The mount is not powered or amplified. Just a holder with a swan neck window sucker mount - can also be vent mounted for car vents with horizontal vent fins.
Cheers
