My daughter finally goes back to school on Thursday. I was getting her uniform ready and realised that i needed new labels. i had iron on labels before which didn't last. anyway i found some stick on clothing labels :j which if they work will be the best thing since sliced bread and if they don't i'll use them for everything else as i need new adhesive labels too.
I realise it might be too late for this year but thought i would post whilst it was fresh in my mind to.
Hope this helps someone.

Having 4 school aged children, I have been using these for about 4 years and although more expensive than other labels I think it is well worth it. I have had no problems with them coming off in the wash or dryer, even on a very hot wash and high heat dry.0

They arrived today and i had everthing done in 5 minutes! :T I couldn't believe how quick it was. They were very sticky so i can well believe that they will stay put. Best £10.95 i've spent this summer.0

Question, please. If you want these to eventally come off, will they? The rate at which my little one grows there are a number of clothes she wears only once or twice and it would be useful to be able to ebay or jumble sale these but with permanent labels that might be a problem? The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0

I get my labels from here: www.mabel.ca
I have been using them since the twins were in reception and they are great.
I have used some of them on their www.laptoplunches.co.uk containers (so they have been washed daily) and they have lasted brilliantly.
You get to choose different colours and little logo for them too. When the twins were small they cose a toy car and dinosaur. Now they are in year five, I have just ordered some new ones with skull and crossbones on.
I ordered two of the back-to-school combo packs this time.
With the coupon code DIAPER I got 20% off so the total cost was $67.00.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

i think that you should be able to remove them but they might leave a sticky residue on the labels. The name labels are an H shape and are designed to stick on a care label. see http://www.namelabels.org.uk/parents.php to see what i mean.
sorry i can't be of more help.0 -
Thanks very much for this OP  I bought some name labels with the little plastic fasteners that seem to be popular now, but they don't stay in very long and the plastic pins keep breaking, so the ones you mention look like a much better alternative for me as I'm useless at sewing!0

Thanks, I often have a big sewing session at the start of a school year, but then forget/don't bother to label anything else I buy as the term goes on. Hopefully this will help me to keep on top of it :T0
