  • if you have a decent quality printer how about printing your own and having it bound at staples or somewhere like that? Or using the office printer (which I have done in the past) ssshhh ;-)

I received an order from Amazon yesterday and it had a flyer for VistaPrint with a special offer on calenders. http://www.vistaprint.co.uk/calendar

I ordered a photo wall calendar (different formats are available) that allowed me to upload my own photos (they have to be in a high resolution). You can add your own text to specific dates (I made sure my birthday was on there!)

Calendar was FREE, although there are lots of extra options which you can choose from which could bump the price (I had mine printed on heavy weight card for 1.49). With postage and tax the total I paid was £5.37.

Now just waiting to see what the quality is like. HTH

I've just ordered one of the "free" calendars from vistaprint with additional extras such as matching coloured grid, higher quality card etc and somehow I've managed to end up with 2 in my basket and only realised after checkout - although I do seem to recall my page said £5.77 to pay.

Anyhow, I've been charged £12.15 instead and I've got two calendars on their way.

I'm not saying it's their fault as I obviously clicked something that I shouldn't have (or didn't unclick something that I should have?). I personally don't think £12.15 for two is that expensive if compared to other websites and my extra one will get used - but for those of you who only want one, this is just a word to the wise to check and double check your basket when you checkout so you don't end up with more calendars than you need.

I always make my own but find that the cost of binding is not cheap. the problem I find is that most places do spiral binding but do not have the equipment to put the hanger bit in at the top (sorry not explained very well!!). do staples do calendar binding cos will look into it if they do and see if they are cheaper than the one printer I have found in town :D

I've not had that problem before (did you have a glass of wine? :D - )could you e-mail them and see if they can do something about it. Just watch out if you took the survey at the end-check your e-mails and if need be, cancel any free trial before you pay a monthly fee. i've always used standard delivery, this has never taken more than 2 weeks. x

Does anyone know where I can get a calendar that allows you to put your own dates in it?
