Help! Looking for a Window Cleaning Kit...

Hi all

Can't find a window cleaner and am desperate to do the windows. I want one of these http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001151&langId=-1&searchTerms=WINDOW+CLEANING+KIT&Submit=GO+%3E

but they are out of stock, have been for a whle and no idea when back in...

Seen some online but at stores i have never heard of so reluctant to buy. Have tried home bargains etc but can't find one. It must have an extendable pole to do outside upstairs windows.

cheers if you can help

  • I have one of these lying in the garage as they are totally rubbish. Fair enough you can wash the downstairs windows fine but when it comes to cleaning the upstairs ones you just cannot put any pressure on the pad as the pole is so long, also you end up getting soaked. I would be having a serious look in your local yellow pages as I am sure there must be a window cleaner somewhere for you.
  • They have these in Netto at the minute for £4.99, also a couple of weeks ago they had some in Aldi so it would be hit and miss if they still had any stock left.

As Marbella stated they are pretty useless over a great distance but are erasonable if you can lean out of upper windows and do it this way and a hell of alot cheaper than a window cleaner.
