Hi all:D
I usually loiter on the slightly more aggressive discussion time, and other such "cliff edge" places, but your board was recommended to me!
I am leaving a rented property in 2 weeks. For reasons far too numerous and tedious to explain, my daughter has many stickers  all over the walls of her bedroom, and indeed the occasion other dotted through the house.
My walls are lined adn then magnoli-ed:o
How on earth can I remove them? Without a)massive expense and b) further distruction!!
Looking forard to some wise words,
Em xxx

Do you have orange glo furniture cleaner? Or lakeland sell a sticky stuff remover. Not sure if WD40 would do though if you don't have either of these. Perhaps give it a little go on one. Whatever you try test it on a little one - no not your daughter!!0

I second the suggestion re WD40 or Sticky stuff remover( perhaps you could borrow some to see if it works first. I think Kim and Aggie used hair spray? and/or Duraglit which might help. Use a small amount + I hope it works well for you.0

ok i could be wrong here but i'm sure i saw kim and aggy use mayo on stickers that had been stuck on a chest of drawers?? might be worth a try??0

White spirit might do it?Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
White spirit is good remover of adhesive however I have a feeling the stickers may pull the paint off if its painted walls0

I know I watched Kim & Aggie rub a chunk of white bread across a wall to get bluetac and the likes off a painted wall...dirty finger marks and crayon I think anyway they used white bread worth a try...:o

warm it gently with a hair dryer - that sometimes makes it less likley to pull the paint away. It cerainly helps with blutackIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

When we moved into our house, DD's bedroom door was covered in football stickers - I vaguely remembered seeing a TV programme where they used baby oil - and it worked a treat - basically, you remove as much of the sticker as you can, then rub baby oil into it - leave for 10 mins or so and then gently use a scraper to remove, this worked a treat on the doors, however, I don't think it would work on wallpaper because you would probably end up with grease marks up the wall0
