COSTCO -Best for customer service?

My family have shopped for years at Costco and bought everything from lawn mowers to sardines from there. Something we have noticed is their returns policy... if it isn't a computer then it is pretty much limitless. My parents Dyson was about 18 months old when it stopped dead, just an off hand remark to a checkout assistant they realised that Costco would take it back no problems.

My brother started work there a couple of months ago (he got his first promotion on his first day and another a few weeks later, hehe) and has found out that they will refund any product that is defective with no real time frame. He has refunded a Leaf blower that was bought 4 years before.

I think that this commitment to customer service should be lauded, if it hasn't been already. It is up to the discretion of the staff though, and hopefully it will stop abuse of the system.

( no great point for this except to congratulate and spread the word of a great consumer practice.)
